Data Strategies is the developer of software for the healthcare market. These powerful software applications have been designed for computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system, and adhere strictly to all relevant industry regulations including HIPAA.

Product Specialist
Help Data Strategies, Inc. be a leader in the industry by acting as a Product Specialist to guide our clients through implementing the elligence software program into their businesses.
Candidates should enjoy the day-to-day contact with clients, helping them reach their goals and maintaining thorough documentation of their interaction with the clients. Duties
- Establishing a working relationship as the main point of contact with our clients
- Coaching the clients through the electronic enrollment process with insurance payers
- Coordinating the programming needs of data conversions
- Ensuring any interface setup/testing needs are met
- Training on the elligence program via the phone and Internet or via a classroom environment
- Answering day-to-day questions regarding business-related needs
- Documenting progress of client’s implementation, issues and/or software enhancement ideas
- Conducting elligence demos for potential clients
- Working various projects, as assigned
Requirements
- Two to four years prior experience as a software/technical trainer in a corporate environment
- Experience in managing multiple client relationships simultaneously
- Hold professional poise and comfort in leading discussions with client decision makers, end-users and IT professionals
- Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy while completing repetitive tasks and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrate capability of staying organized and producing comprehensive documentation
- Possess excellent oral and written communication
- Skilled in working independently and making decisions based on sound judgment
- Display an affinity for technology
- Show responsibility/reliability and maintain excellent attendance
- Be energetic, team-oriented, and patient
- Project management or software implementations-related experience, a plus
- Medical industry experience or practice management experience, a plus
- Some travel may be required
Technical Support Representative
Join our team supporting our Windows/SQL Server/IIS-based client-server application for the healthcare industry. We are seeking a candidate with a "get it done" attitude that is customer service oriented. What is most essential in this position is the ability to learn and "catch-on" quickly. In this role you will be working with our customers who are using one of our healthcare software packages. You will be helping them solve problems and navigate through the system. You will be clearly documenting the details on our proprietary customer relations management software. Your position is primarily telephone based (90%). We offer an excellent work environment and benefits package.
Requirements

VB.Net/ASP.Net/C#/SQL Programmer/Software Analyst
Our flagship product, MDsuite, was developed using SQL Server 2005, VB.Net and C#. It is an N-Tier application whose UI is presented in a customized version of IE.

Requirements
- Experience with VB.Net, C# and SQL are required
- 2+ years experience working in any field (technical or other) is required
- 2+ years experience with SQL Server 2005, VB.Net, and IIS
- On-the-job experience is not necessary for the right applicant (one who can demonstrate that they've worked on projects of their own outside of school)
- Expertise developing well-structured N-Tier web applications using VB.Net, C# and ASP.NET are a huge plus

Sales Account Manager
Duties
- Sell directly to doctors in San Diego County and other areas where there is no VAR representation
- Attend shows, perform demos, write proposals and sales agreements
- Recruit, help train and support VARS
- Develop marketing plans
- Guide advertising efforts including press releases, written ads, web page, product reviews, etc.
- Interview and assist in hiring new sales-related employees, as needed
Requirements
- Two to four years prior experience in software sales
- 30% travel time
- Energetic, team oriented, and patient
- Be highly organized and able to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
- Maintains attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks
- Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines

Quality Assurance Engineer
Join our team testing our Windows/SQL Server-based client-server application for the healthcare market. Employee will be testing our software’s functionality and usability, writing detailed problem reports, suggesting changes, researching technical issues, etc.
Requirements
- Self Starter with a "can-do" attitude
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Ability to work with diverse hardware and be proficient working on hardware as well as software
- Ability to read and comprehend complex technical manuals and documentation
- Ability to prioritize projects and work schedule to effectively deliver client service
- Ability to document solutions thoroughly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Background
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
- QA, Programming, or Tech Support experience at a Windows-based software company
These would be a plus:
- Experience with testing automation
- Experience with medical billing
- Knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL Server 2000/2005
- Knowledge of Transact-SQL, IIS, Windows 2000/XP
